MCP Core has been upgraded to support the MCP specification dated 2026-07-28, together with the latest MCP SDK v2.

This update ensures better alignment with the latest MCP ecosystem changes and provides a stronger foundation for upcoming protocol capabilities.

Backward-Compatible MCP Spec Support

We have introduced improved backward compatibility for previous MCP specification versions.

This allows MCP Core to work more reliably with servers and clients that have not yet migrated to the latest specification, reducing compatibility friction across different MCP implementations.

Enterprise SSO Improvements

Enterprise authentication capabilities have received a significant update.

We improved the underlying SSO architecture and expanded support for enterprise identity providers, including:

• Auth0

• Okta

• Keycloak

These additions make it easier for organizations to integrate MCP Core with their existing identity and access management infrastructure.

Increased Infrastructure Capacity

We have expanded our production infrastructure with additional server capacity to support the continued growth of MCP Core.

The additional resources improve overall platform scalability, workload distribution, and service stability, while giving us more headroom as traffic and MCP workloads continue to increase.

Rate Limiting Improvements

Several issues related to rate limiting and request throttling have been resolved.

The updated implementation provides more consistent request handling and reduces unexpected throttling under higher workloads.
